ZA WAYNE_LEWIS Rocco Ro’ Johnson je rođen u srcu Los Santosa, u bloku gde se sirene i pucnji čuju češće nego ptice. Njegova majka ga je sama odgajila, radeći dva posla da bi platile stanarinu, dok je otac nestao u zatvoru još pre nego što je Rocco naučio da hoda. Detinjstvo mu je prošlo na ulicama – basket na raspadnutom terenu, smeh sa ekipom, ali i prva iskustva sa nasiljem i drogom koja je kružila getom. Bio je klinac koji je brzo morao da odraste, jer u kraju gde pripadnost bandi znači život ili smrt, neutralnost ne postoji. Sa 15 godina, Rocco je već nosio nadimak “Ro’” i bio poznat kao momak koji se ne povlači. Naučio je da vozi auto brže nego što je naučio da vozi bicikl, i da prepozna policajca u civilu iz daljine. Ali i pored toga, imao je san – da jednog dana izađe iz geta, da repuje o svom životu i pokaže svetu da je više od još jednog klinca sa Grove Streeta. Rocco Ro’ Johnson je znao: u Los Santosu ili napraviš svoje ime… ili te niko neće zapamtiti
