Danas to moze biti svako ko voli jednostavan zivot, pick up, lov, country muziku i opustenu seosku atmosferu. Ima ih i siromasnih i bogatih, neki su obrazovani, ali i dalje nose maskirno i ponasaju se klasicno. U sustini, redneck danas vise znaci stil i identitet nego klasa ili porijeklo.
