Veljku je sa dve godine ustanovljena spinalna mišićna atrofija – tip 3. Roditelji su zapazili da se teže penje uz stepenice, da teže ustaje sa poda, kao i da oseća bol u oba kuka. Veljko u sedećem i ležećem stavu nema slabosti mišića, međutim pri ustajanju i hodu mu je potreban oslonac. Aleksi je pri prohodavanju takođe dignostikovana spinalna mišićna atrofija, ali tip 2. Otežano je hodao do svoje devete godine. Ova bolest je jako progresivna, i što je stariji, onemogućava mu disanje, kretanje i hranjenje. Učenik je trećeg razreda, gde se veoma lepo uklopio, odličan je đak i odlazak u školu ga istinski raduje. Lek za ovu bolest je, na sreću, otkriven. Jako je delotvoran i zaustavlja progresiju. Na žalost, porodica je iscrpela sva novčana sredstva i potrebna im je naša pomoć kako bi ova dva brata uz pomoć leka napredovala i imala srećnije detinjstvo. Pomozimo Veljku i Aleksi!
