Nakon uredne trudnoće i carskog reza, četiri dana nakon rođenja Mia dobija sepsu i stafilokoku u nosu i tada je lekari prebacuju u KC Kragujevac gde provodi prvih mesec dana života. Mia je otpuštena iz Kliničkog centra Kragujevac sa dijagnozama hipotonija mišića i usporeni psihomotorni razvoj. Od hipotonije dobija kifoskoliozu kičme i od nepunih godinu dana života je na Klinici za rehabilitaciji u Beogradu. Dobija mider kao pomagalo kako bi se stabilizovao trup i ispravio kičmeni stub da bi Mia mogla da sedi i da se kreće. Na žalost, ni jedan od ovih pokušaja nije bio uspešan i lekari dalje predlažu operaciju kičme i ugradnju šipke da bi se kičmeni stub ispravio. Za Miu!
